Where are the Crores

Veerapan,the man who made crores.
In certain parts , a folklore,
For all his crimes and gore,
Now, is no more.

But where exactly are the crores?
Based on where he lived and what he wore,
surely the money would have been stored
With Swiss banks or politicians,the crores.
And is the chance of recovering the crores,
zero, and the topic a closed door?
