  1. By law, all. But the law in practice is shamefully inadequate.

  2. legally, I am not so sure, but morally I feel all should be punishable.

  4. Legal definition apart, the problem is that a female who boldly complains is looked down by our society. She is being treated as if she took part in it on her own, which is pretty bad.

    sray , true

moment, well technically the law agrees with you :)

neurohavo yes true it varies and depends practically re. implementation,

    maverick agree.
every woman who complaints need not be a victim and the accused are innocent until proved guilty, but at the same time there is no need for social disapproval which is prevalent in most of the places.

  6. I don't know what point you want to make by writing this blog. I dont know what is right and what is wrong, but I know one thing, if I feel something is wrong and even then I don't do anything to make it right, then there is no point for me to cpmplain about that thing. What steps have you taken against it all? Have you even tried to do anything? If not, then please stop complaining. just writing blogs on some site won't be of help if you really want to change something. Think about it!!!

  7. Anonymous: People write blogs not to make/prove a point, but to express their feelings about things they feel deeply about. It is not always about doing something... but the fact that people have come to this blog, left their comments, or at least read it, is reason enough. All these contribute to the overall raising of awareness. I would say that is reason enough to write about those issues.

Furthermore, how do you know wisedonkey is *not* involved actively in fighting against discrimination? Dont judge someone when you dont know them. And please at least make your identity known, dont hide!

  8. Annonymous, well life is about choices.
When I blog its my choice,
I have never said this a complain corner or that I make a difference.I write on many topics and not all issue based. If i write about issues, its because awareness is the first step towards tackling an issue.

I have not asked anyone to do anything for me, so I dont think
I have to prove anything to anyone or tell what else I am doing, not doing etc.

Other bloggers too have their choice,
Read it and take any good from this if possible and point out my errors when I make them.
Or think this is just an useless blog and ignore it or express it.

    Thanks for your comments:)

    Sray, thanks:)
