Do U Know - India Drunken Driving BAC Legal Limit and Punishment

In India while driving a motor vehicle,if a person, has in his/her blood alcohol exceeding 30mg per 100 ml of blood detected in a test by a breath analyser, That person shall be punishable for the first offence with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees, or with both; and for a second or subsequent offence, if committed within three years of the commission of the previous similar offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to three thousand rupees, or with both.

  6. So how many beer bottles or large pegs(60 ml) of whisky, brandy or rum increase bllod alcohol level to 30 mg per 100 ml?

  7. anbu:) well that was the point of the post.
    but it seems this will vary based on individual weight, food before drinking etc..

    but its not a lot of drinks to cross the line from my search engines so far.
    when i get something concrete, no doubt i will post it. and will be grateful if anyone can come up with the answer:)

    again login probs with o3.
    i have been bloggin there for around 15 months and just toooooo many probs there.
    the latest in my login.

    last couple of times, i created another, but this time , couldnt post even through the 2 new ids i created..

    and blogspot has all my blogposts, even those deleted by o3:D


    (i also blog in sify sulekha msn spaces rediff and tripod, so if u prefer to comment elsewhere let me know:D)

    Do u really hav 2 shift here...:(
    Do admit that o3 gives a lot of problems.....but is easier to comment there. And sometimes blogspot pages show IE errors....to the extent that it doesnt allow me to proceed urther......saw ur cute comments on my blog....:D:D:D
    Was in a mood to pull some 'leos' legs ....:D:D:D
    Hav 2 say was quite successfull too...tho never knew there were so many of them around......yeah of course them being lazy, no surprise....:D:D:D
